G-Sim and Astro podcasts

Well, I have been checking around badastronomy.com and there are two interesting links I found. You might learn something in both of them. One simulates gravity between bodies, like galaxies and rings and planets and… You Know! It is really cool. The first thing I did was to explode a planet, and then stop all velocity so that G brings them all back together. It simulates the Solar System, colliding galaxies, and it has a fun bouncy mode.

Here is a link to download one: http://universesandbox.com/about/

Secondly, there are a bunch of podcasts of lectures from famous astronomers. You might learn something from them. The link: http://www.astrosociety.org/education/podcast/index.html

And one last thing…

They found water in Mercury’s scant atmosphere!
